Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates and others. This includes information about other products you have purchased through the Altegris Companies and others (including other affiliated companies), such as information about additions, redemptions, etc.
Information we receive about you from third parties such as referring brokers or advisers, managers, product sponsors and clearing firms, and/or their service providers. These parties may include affiliates of the Altegris Companies.

Disclosure of Your Information

We do not disclose any personal or financial information about you, whether you are our current or former client, without your authorization or direction, except as disclosed below.

We may share information about you with affiliated or nonaffiliated third parties, in order for them to assist us in providing services to you, and otherwise as permitted by law. However, affiliated and nonaffiliated third parties who receive information about you in order to assist us in providing services to you are restricted from using your information for any other purpose.

If there is a change to our Privacy Policy, the new policy will be posted on our website, www.managedfutures.com, and attached to any notice of such change, with a visible effective date.

Confidentiality and Security

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees and third parties who need to know that information to assist us in providing services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

There are substantial risks and conflicts of interests associated with Managed Futures and commodities accounts, and you should only invest risk capital. The success of an investment is dependent upon the ability of a commodity trading advisor (CTA) to identify profitable investment opportunities and successfully trade. The identification of attractive trading opportunities is difficult, requires skill, and involves a significant degree of uncertainty. CTAs have total trading authority, and the use of a single CTA could mean a lack of diversification and higher risk. The high degree of leverage often obtainable in commodity trading can work against you as well as for you, and can lead to large losses as well as gains. Returns generated from a CTA’s trading, if any, may not adequately compensate you for the business and financial risks you assume. You can lose all or a substantial amount of your investment. If you use notional funding, you may lose more than your initial cash investment. Managed Futures and commodities accounts may be subject to substantial charges for management and advisory fees. It may be necessary for accounts that are subject to these charges to make substantial trading profits in order to avoid depletion or exhaustion of their assets. The disclosure document contains a complete description of each fee to be charged to your account by a CTA. CTAs may trade highly illiquid markets, or on foreign markets, and may not be able to close or offset positions immediately upon request.
